Sponsorship
of Mulligan Tour tournaments
In
an attempt to emulate the PGA Tour experience, the Mulligan Tour seeks
sponsors for most tournaments. Sponsorship opportunities
provide a person or business a platform for promoting a favorite charity
or just the prestige of hosting an annual golf tournament.
The
cost to sponsor a tournament can be as low as the sponsorship fee (the
purse for that tournament) plus some extras for on course challenges
(closest-to-the-pins, long drives, etc.) or more if adding other
prizes and amenities like food, driving range, etc.
The
sponsorship fee is waived for the first year of a new
sponsor. Sponsorship agreements are year-to-year.
There are no long
term commitments necessary.
Each
sponsor is unique and the Tour tailors each sponsorship to best
benefit the sponsor and the Tour, and, if desired, a charity.
Sponsors may have naming rights to the tournament, and links on the
Mulligan Tour website, as well as advertising in the Tour's newsletter
and at the Tour's booth at the Michigan Golf Show.
