Schwartz Takes HPO

Dan Schwartz
dominated the field in the Tour's
first stop at Eagle Crest GC. His 11
under par topped Bob White and Erik
Meland by 4 shots. Todd Stuart, Jim
Cwikla and Chris Drake tied for 4th
at 4 under par. Dan got his first
Tour win in the 2nd Major of the
year. Dan is one of 16 founders of
the Tour. Dan was so happy with his
win, he decided to sponsor the
tournament into the future.
Chris Drake goes Crazy Low

Chris
Drake shot a net 56 on a gross 89 to
take playing partner Jim Cwikla by 6
shots. Gary Prevost was 3rd with a
66 and Frank Caruana tied Todd Stuart
for 4th at 67. Bob White led the field
with 35 putts on the day.
Petree Makes
it Two in a Row
June 10, 2000 at St. Johns (Luke -
Matthew)
Mary Petree
landed her 2nd win in a week by taking a
3 shot win in the Animal House Classic
with a 3 under par 69. Bob White took
second. John Gmitter took 3rd at 2 over
par 74 and Sue Cwikla was 4th at 3 over
par 75. Gmitter, White, Kerry Homberger
and Steve Gregg all made the Zoo Putt
Off.
Petree Sips from the Cup
June 3,
2000 Hickory Creek
Mary Petree took at 2
shot victory over John Gmitter with
a fine 7 under par 64 at Hickory
Creek. David Martin, Ron
Stuart and Todd Stuart tied for 3rd
at 1 under 70. The 13th hole
had to be shortened to a par 3 which
made the course a par 71 instead of
the normal 72. Martin had 30 putts
on the day.
Ladies Dominate at Pine View

2000 at Pine View GC
In a battle
of Sue's, Sue Cwikla out lasted
Susan Meland to take the Pine View
Classic. Cwikla scored at 3 under
par 69 to Meland's 1 under par 71.
Todd Stuart and John Gmitter tied
for 3rd at 2 over par 74. Stuart led
the day with 30 putts. Sue Cwikla
had 2 eagles in her round. Sue
Meland logged an eagle and an
Albatross in her round.
