Wins Big at Animal House

Persichetti had 4 birdies and an eagle
on the front nine to take control of the
Animal House Classic and cruise to a 7
shot victory with a 5 under par 67.
David Martin took 2nd. Old Tom Litzler
was 3rd at 3 over par 75 and 'Doc'
Daksiewicz tied for 4th at 4 over par 76
with Jeff Kellstrom. Persichetti
led the field with 30 putts.
Notable: Frank Caruana, Terry Barr, Ray
Collins and JC all hit 9 fairways.
This is Rick's 3rd Tour win in 17
starts.

David Martin strung 7
birdies and a hole out 18th hole eagle
to shoot a 6 under par 66 and dominate
the field at the Tin Cup. Jeff
Klipa took 2nd at 1 under par 71. Ray
Collins was 3rd at 1 over par 73 and
Chris Drake was 4th at 2 over par 74.
Erik Meland led the field with 30
putts. Martin led the field with 12
fairways hit while Cindy Loescher and
Victory McCoy logged 10. Jason Carte
led the field with 10 Greens in
Regulation. This is Martin's 6th
career Tour win and 1st Tin Cup title
after finishing runner up the last 2
years.
Meland Wins
2nd in a Row

Erik Meland topped Victory
McCoy in a playoff to take the Western
Swing. Both finished at 4 under par 68
in regulation. Meland eagled the par 5
18th hole to forge a tie with McCoy.
Frank Caruana finished 3rd at 3 under
69 and Kerry Homberger took 4th at 1
under par 71. Tom W. Litzler led the
field with only 30 putts. David Martin
and Chris Drake each hit 10 fairways.
Gary Rose had 3 eagles and Paul Haeck
matched Meland with 2 eagles in the
round. This is Meland's 9th Tour win.

Erik
Meland took the season opener at Pine
View with a 1 under par 71. Two front
nine eagles got him clear of the field
and 2 early birdies combined with 2 more
late kept him there. Bob White and Ian
Steward tied for 2nd at 3 over par 75.
Brad Jones and 'Doc' Daksiewicz tied for
4th at 4 over 76. Meland and White
tied for fewest putts at 32. Meland
leads the Tour with 8 career wins.
