And now for something completely different...
The Holy Grail is a Western Division tournament played
annually at St. John's Golf and Conference Center in Plymouth. The
Monty Python influenced tournament offers
players the chance to use 3 "Holy Hand Grenades".
These allow a player to throw the ball from anywhere to get out
of trouble for free - a mulligan tour exclusive!
At any
time during the round, the player may pick up his/her ball and
throw it in any direction without counting a stroke.
The player must stand on the spot where the ball was
laying and may take a 1-step delivery.
The ball is “in play” wherever the ball comes to
rest. A maximum of
1 Holy Hand Grenade may be used on any given hole.
Register
early - the field is limited to 24 players to ensure completing
the tournament before darkness.
