The Pine View Classic
is the opening tournament on the Tour's
Western Division schedule and is one of
the original 6 tournaments that started it
all. Hosted annually by Pine View GC
in Ypsilanti, the tournament is an
individual, 18-hole, net-score,
stroke-play event. A challenging
start to the tour season.
The 2024 Pine View
Classic is sponsored by Mike Fox and his
Bike MS cycling team, Rollin With The
Homies. The Michigan chapter of the
Rollin With The Homies national Bike MS
team rides each year in Bike MS: Great
Lakes Bavarian Breakaway out of
Frankenmuth, MI to support the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society. Multiple
sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable,
often disabling disease of the central
nervous system that disrupts the flow of
information within the brain, and
between the brain and body. It is
thought to affect more than 2.3 million
people worldwide. Most of which are
diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50.
Many of us know a friend, or family
member who is impacted by MS.
The Michigan 'Rollin With The Homies'
cycling team was established in 2013,
and rides annually in a Michigan Bike MS
fundraising event. 2024 will mark the
6th year of partnering with The Mulligan
Tour, and the Homies 11th year to be
Rollin in the fight to defeat MS. With
the support of sponsors and fundraising
efforts by team members, the team has
raised over $62,744 to date.
Included in your registration this year
is two $5 mulligans to directly support
the Michigan Rollin With The Homies
fundraising efforts for 2024. $3 from
each registration will also go towards
our 2024 fundraising efforts.
Thank you for your support once again!
Have a great round, and try to stay out
of the trees!
