The Sweet Sixteen debuted in 2005 on the Mulligan Tour's
Central division schedule. In this event, played as an individual,
stroke-play, net score tournament, players "throw out"
their 2 worst holes and only count their best 16 holes (relative
to par) for a final score.
After dropping from the Tour schedule in 2009, the tournament
returns in 2010 on the inaugural East division schedule.
